About

Why photographs and ticket stubs, you ask? Because I have loads and I don’t know what to do with them. Photos sit in piles, envelopes, and albums as well as on my computer and online. Ticket stubs, too, collect in my wallet, my purse, on my dresser, in my desk. I don’t get rid of any of them because each photograph, each ticket stub tells a story. Some may not look like much to a stranger but they’re remnants of me; my life. Little reminders of who, where, what I was and how I’ve come to be.

Another reason: I love art. All art. Music, theatre, film, photography, studio art, digital art, poetry, writing; I’ve explored it all – some more than others – and I appreciate it all. Photographs and ticket stubs are evidence of the art I’ve enjoyed or produced myself and the inspiration I’ve gathered.

So when I think of a blog, I think about pieces of me being set down for others to explore. My thoughts, my feelings, my experiences. I’d liken it to going through a stack of ticket stubs. Snapshots of my life. Enjoy!

Also, check out my other website (through school) here.

I’m still searching for a way to unify this blog and would deeply appreciate comments on what you like/don’t like/would like to see here.  Plus, it’s nice to hear from readers!
